What is the inspiration behind your Instagram page?
I’m a homeschooling mom of two amazing littles, my sweet girl (7) and caring boy (5)! Our homeschooling journey has been filled with exploration, creativity, learning together, with a splash of chaos here and there . The inspiration behind my Instagram page, @EVERYDAYWITHINDIE, comes from wanting to share the joy of hands-on learning with other parents and educators. I strongly believe that quality time is most kids’ main love language. The activities I share inspire creativity and connection. I love creating a space where we can connect, share resources, and find inspiration for making learning engaging and memorable.
We have loved seeing your page grow, and all the amazing projects and activities you share, and we learn so much as you incorporate Kwik Stix into your classroom! What inspired you to want to be a Brand Ambassador?
Thank you so much! I was inspired to become a Brand Ambassador for Kwik Stix because of how much my kids and I genuinely love using your products. Kwik Stix makes creating art simple, fun, and mess-free, which is perfect for our busy homeschool days. I love how vibrant the colors are, and how smooth the texture is. Being a Brand Ambassador is a way for me to share this joy with other families who value hands-on learning as much as we do.
What is your favorite product of ours that you have tried so far? Can you tell us more about why you love this product, and if you have any tips or tricks when using it or favorite techniques? Is there anything in particular that has helped you blend creativity, play, and learning together with your projects?
Our favorite product has to be the classic Kwik Stix tempera paint sticks. The colors are vibrant, and they dry so quickly , making them perfect for quick art projects or even adding a creative touch to our academic activities. One tip I’d share is to use them for resist art projects on cardstock or to create beautiful, layered backgrounds for arts and crafts projects. We also use Kwik Stix for interactive learning activities, like decorating sight word cards or making colorful alphabet letters.
We love that you incorporate photos and videos of your activities on your page! What is one of your favorite projects you have created using our products? There have been so many great posts you have made, and we want to know which stands out to you!
One of my favorite projects was our scratch art activity using Kwik Stix as a colorful base. My kids painted bright backgrounds on cardstock, and after layering black acrylic paint mixed with dish soap, we used skewers to reveal the hidden colors underneath. It was a beautiful combination of art, sensory play, and learning about color blending. The joy on my kids’ faces as they revealed their designs was priceless, and the process was both educational and creatively fulfilling, even for me!
What’s next for you? Do you have any exciting crafts or activities planned for the holiday months ahead?!
Absolutely! With the holiday season approaching, we’re gearing up for a series of festive, hands-on crafts. We have plans for DIY ornaments, holiday-themed resist art using Kwik Stix, and some fun, process-based art projects inspired by winter scenes. We’re also excited to incorporate more STEM-based activities that combine art and science. It’s all about keeping the holiday magic alive while nurturing creativity and learning!
